AETERNA DAILY← Back to the app
Public beta privacy notice · Updated October 16, 2026

Your privacy, your practice.

Summary: This beta has no user accounts, payment forms, analytics SDKs, or Aeterna-run database. Your journal entries, mood check-ins, intentions, and progress are stored in your own browser on the device you use. Please do not enter sensitive medical records or information you would not want others using that device to see.

What is stored

The application stores check-ins, daily intentions, journal entries, completed practices, course progress, and related timestamps in local browser storage. A temporary session setting records whether you switched on Premium demo mode. The data isn't encrypted by this app, so anyone using the same browser profile could potentially access it.

What we receive

The beta application does not send your journal or check-in content to Aeterna Daily or to an application database. The service hosting the website may collect ordinary operational data—such as IP address, device and browser information, and website access logs—to deliver, secure, and maintain the site. The hosting provider's own privacy policy applies to its processing.

Payments and accounts

This beta does not have sign-in or checkout and cannot charge you. Any Premium plan prices shown in the interface are illustrative and the Premium demo toggle is not a subscription.

Deleting or keeping your entries

Open My progress in the app to Export my data as a file or Erase all my data from the current browser. Clearing the browser's local site data may also remove your entries. Data does not automatically synchronize to another phone or computer. A locally downloaded export remains under your control.

Website storage and third parties

To make the app work offline after it has been installed, your browser may cache public application files. The app does not currently include advertising scripts, embedded social media trackers, or third-party behavioral analytics. If those features are introduced later, the notice will need to be updated before they are activated.

Updates and questions

The public beta may change as features are developed. The project owner should publish a working business support or privacy contact before opening paid membership or collecting data through accounts. This notice covers only the current local-storage beta and is not a substitute for a legal review of a commercial service.
